1 Kings / Question
Question source
1 Kings
The queen of Sheba came to test Solomon with hard questions after hearing of his fame concerning the name of the LORD (1 Kings 10:1). Solomon answered all her questions, and nothing was hidden from him (1 Kings 10:3). After seeing his wisdom, house, food, officials, and worship, “there was no more spirit in her” (1 Kings 10:4-5).
1When the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of Yahweh, she came to prove him with hard questions.
2She came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bore spices, and very much gold, and precious stones; and when she was come to Solomon, she talked with him of all that was in her heart.
3Solomon told her all her questions: there was not anything hidden from the king which he didn`t tell her.
4When the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,
5and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their clothing, and his cup bearers, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of Yahweh; there was no more spirit in her.
