2 Samuel / Question
Question source
2 Samuel
Joab told his brother Abishai to support each other depending on which front was stronger. He urged courage “for our people, and for the cities of our God,” and then said, “May the LORD do what seems good to him.” See 2 Samuel 10:11–12.
11He said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the children of Ammon be too strong for you, then I will come and help you.
12Be of good courage, and let us play the man for our people, and for the cities of our God: and Yahweh do that which seems him good.
