Colossians / Question
Question source
Colossians
Colossians calls Christ "the firstborn of all creation" in a context that also says all things were created in him, through him, and for him Colossians 1:15–16. The wording links "firstborn" with his priority and rank over creation in the same paragraph Colossians 1:18.
15who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16For in him were all things created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and to him.
