Hebrews / Question
Question source
Hebrews
Hebrews contrasts God’s earlier speech through the prophets with his final speech through the Son. It says that “in these last days” God has spoken “to us by his Son” (Hebrews 1:1–2). The point is that the Son is presented as the climactic, definitive messenger.
1God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
2has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
