James says God cannot be tempted with evil and "he himself tempts no one" (James 1:13). He explains that temptation comes when a person is lured by his own desire (James 1:14).
13Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God can`t be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
14But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
