How the image works. Many agree the “pot/meat” slogan is being reversed. The main difference is whether “the slain are the meat” is meant as grim irony (the city contains bodies, not secure citizens) or also as a hint that those left inside will face further “cooking” (harder suffering) while the leaders are removed.
