Finally, “she stopped bearing” can be read as a normal pause between pregnancies or as the beginning of a longer period of infertility. The text itself only states a break in the pattern after the fourth son.

Also, naming explanations often rely on Hebrew sounds and roots that do not transfer neatly into English. And the final line reports an outcome (a stop) without explaining its cause or length.
