2 Kings / Question
Question source
2 Kings
As the sons of the prophets were cutting logs by the Jordan, an iron axe head fell into the water, and the man cried out that it was borrowed. Elisha cut a stick, threw it in, and the iron floated. He told the man to take it up, and he reached out his hand and took it (2 Kings 6:5–7).
5But as one was felling a beam, the ax-head fell into the water; and he cried, and said, Alas, my master! for it was borrowed.
6The man of God said, Where fell it? He showed him the place. He cut down a stick, and cast it in there, and made the iron to swim.
7He said, Take it up to you. So he put out his hand, and took it.
