2 Thessalonians / Question
Question source
2 Thessalonians
Paul asks them not to be quickly “shaken in mind or alarmed” by messages claiming that “the day of the Lord has come” (2 Thessalonians 2:1–2). He mentions a “spirit,” a “spoken word,” or a “letter seeming to be from us” as possible sources of the disturbance (2 Thessalonians 2:2).
1Now we beg you, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to him,
2to the end that you won`t be quickly shaken in your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, saying that the day of Christ had come.
