Genesis
God creates light on the first day when he says, “Let there be light” Genesis 1:3–5. He separates the light from the darkness and names them “Day” and “Night.”
3God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
4God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
5God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. There was evening and there was morning, one day.
