Proverbs / Question
Proverbs 3:5-6 calls God's people to trust the LORD with the whole heart, refuse self-reliant wisdom, acknowledge him in every path, and receive his guidance.
The saying belongs to wisdom instruction from a father to a son. It is not a promise that life will be effortless; it is an invitation to order the whole way of life under the LORD's wisdom rather than private calculation.
This verse is often used for decision-making. Its wider context shows that trust is a whole-life posture, not only a technique for getting quick answers.
5Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don`t lean on your own understanding.
6In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will direct your paths.
