4Thus says Yahweh: For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away the punishment of it; because they have rejected the law of Yahweh, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk:
5but I will send a fire on Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
1Hear this word that Yahweh has spoken against you, children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying,
2You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will visit on you all your iniquities.
14Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so Yahweh, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you say.
15Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish justice in the gate: it may be that Yahweh, the God of hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.
4For thus says Yahweh to the house of Israel, Seek you me, and you shall live;
5but don`t seek Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and don`t pass to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nothing.
6Seek Yahweh, and you shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and it devour, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
11In who day will I raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up the breaches of it; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;
12who they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name, says Yahweh who does this.
7Are you not as the children of the Ethiopians to me, children of Israel? says Yahweh. Haven`t I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
