Amos
Amos ends with a promise that the LORD will raise up “the booth of David that is fallen” and repair its breaches. The passage describes rebuilding “as in the days of old” and extending possession over other peoples called by the LORD’s name. See Amos 9:11–12.
11In who day will I raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up the breaches of it; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;
12who they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name, says Yahweh who does this.
