Why the disagreement exists The words “with,” “seek,” and “found” are relational and somewhat open-ended in how they show up on the ground. Also, Chronicles often links faithfulness to outcomes in the story, which leads readers to weigh whether the prophet is promising specific kinds of success or describing a broader pattern of covenant relationship.
