34:5-6Meaning
Elihu’s summary of Job’s complaint Elihu says Job has claimed two things at once: first, that he is “righteous,” and second, that God has taken away what is due to him—his “right/justice” (justice). Elihu then adds more of the complaint: even though Job believes he is in the right, he is treated as if he is lying, and his suffering is described as a lasting, incurable wound—despite his claim of no disobedience.
