6:25-27Meaning
Worry is misplaced and ineffective Jesus begins with “Therefore,” tying this command to the preceding talk about rival masters. He tells them not to be anxious about life’s necessities—food, drink, clothing—because life and the body are more than the things that sustain or cover them. He points to birds that do not farm or store in barns, yet are fed by “your heavenly Father,” and argues that humans matter more. He then presses a practical point: anxiety cannot add to one’s life; it does not accomplish what it promises.
