No. Romans rejects the idea that Christians should continue in sin so grace may increase. Paul answers, 'By no means,' because believers have been united with Christ in his death and resurrection and are called to live in newness of life.
Romans 6 responds to a false conclusion someone might draw from grace. If grace abounds over sin, should sin continue? Paul says the gospel joins believers to Christ, breaking sin's old mastery.
This protects grace from being twisted into permission for sin. Romans teaches that grace forgives and transforms; it does not leave sin as lord.
A careful reading should not make obedience the basis of justification. Romans 6 follows justification and explains the new life that flows from union with Christ.
