Grace and mercy in the Bible

2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

9He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.

14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

15For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

1Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain,

2for he says, "At an acceptable time I listened to you, In a day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

1Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the assemblies of Macedonia;

9For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

8God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.

12that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

17comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.

18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

13who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

14in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins;

2To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ [who are] at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God, our Father, and the Lord, Jesus Christ.

6which has come to you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

13You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;

14having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he has taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;

16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.

18The salutation of me, Paul, with my own hand. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you.

6to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved,

7in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

8which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

5even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have you been saved),

7that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;

8for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9not of works, that no one would boast.

2if it is so that you have heard of the administration of that grace of God which was given me toward you;

7whereof I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

8To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

7But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

3Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,

4who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father --

5to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

6I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different gospel;

21I don`t make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"

4But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

5that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6Because you are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"

7So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

2Mercy to you and peace and love be multiplied.

21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

22On some have compassion, making a distinction,

23and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.

24Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy,

20Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in the Lord.

25The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

4I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,

7For we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

6And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

24being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

15But the free gift isn`t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

20The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly;

1What will we say then? Will we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
